Suffolk Construction Relocates West Palm Beach Office

Suffolk Construction is preparing to move its downtown West Palm Beach office after committing to 19,000 square feet at Echo, a boutique office and retail property at 205 Datura Street.

The national construction firm will occupy the top floor of the four-story building, located near South Narcissus Avenue. The relocation will keep Suffolk in the heart of downtown, approximately three blocks east of its existing office at 426 Clematis Street.

Tom Thrasher, Suffolk’s general manager for South Florida, said the new workplace is intended to provide a high-quality experience for the company’s employees, clients and business partners. He also characterized the lease as a sign of Suffolk’s continued commitment to the West Palm Beach community.

Echo contains approximately 71,000 square feet of office space, along with 10,000 square feet of street-level retail and a 257-space parking garage. The building dates to 1925 and was repositioned as a mixed-use property by Morning Calm Management in 2021.

Toronto-based family office Coco Group acquired Echo for $45.7 million in 2025. Suffolk’s decision to remain downtown adds another prominent business tenant to a West Palm Beach office market that has attracted substantial corporate and investor interest in recent years.

Lease terms and brokerage information were not disclosed.
