Mobile Device Company Makes HQ Move To Downtown Hollywood

MarBlue, a manufacturer of accessories for mobile devices, will move its headquarters to downtown Hollywood and create 28 jobs.
The company moved from 2402 Hollywood Blvd. to a 13,000-square-foot facility at 1955 Harrison Street, where it will invest $2.9 million and double its number of employees. The company also has a 23,000-square-foot warehouse in Dania Beach.
MarBlue was was offered $112,000 from the Qualified Target Industry program from the state and city.
“We are excited to be relocating to an Art Deco style building in downtown Hollywood,” MarBlue VP Maria Martin said in a news release. “MarBlue is very much a South Florida company and we feel the style and location of the building embodies our ties to South Florida and will help us attract and retain the highest quality employees.”
The company makes mobile phone and tablet accessories such as cases, covers and wearable gear.
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity worked on the deal.
