Santander Backs $88M Loan For New Apartments Near Aventura Mall
Santander Bank has extended a substantial $88.3 million construction loan to Pinnacle Communities and Ram Realty Advisors to fund their latest development, Aventana, a 16-story, 334-unit rental building situated at 19640 Harriet Tubman Highway in North Miami Beach, just west of the Aventura Mall and north of the Brightline station.
The tower will encompass 354,238 square feet, featuring 334 apartments with 34 units reserved for workforce housing. The land, a 2.2-acre site, was bought for $15.4 million in 2022 by Pinnacle and Ram.
Originally planned as a 285-unit, 15-story building, the developers secured permission for added density due to its proximity to the Brightline station.
Santander converted an outstanding $8M loan issued in 2022 into the full $88.3 million package.
Construction is projected to finish in Q4 2027.
Its strategic location—steps from Aventura Mall and the Brightline station—positions it as a transit-adjacent, amenity-rich project targeting both daily commuters and lifestyle-focused renters.
