JLL Capital Markets Strengthens Miami Debt & Equity Placement Team With Two Director Promotions

 JLL Capital Markets announced that Paul Adams and Maddy McMillen have been appointed as Directors within its Miami Debt & Equity Placement team, effective June 23.

Both professionals will report to Chris Drew, Senior Managing Director and Miami Office Head, further enhancing JLL’s capital markets capabilities in South Florida.

“We’re excited to announce the addition of Paul and Maddy as the newest advisors on our Miami Debt & Equity Placement team,” said Drew, Senior Managing Director and Miami Office Head at JLL. “Their combined expertise in structuring complex financing strategies across various property types will allow JLL to deliver an even more robust suite of services to our clients throughout South Florida and beyond.”

Adams joins the Director role after serving as an Associate with JLL’s Miami Debt & Equity Placement team since January 2022. He specializes in complex debt financings, equity placement and recapitalizations, with particular focus on multifamily and condominium development. Prior to JLL, Adams spent four years with Avison Young’s Washington, DC Structured Finance Group, where he underwrote several billion dollars of office, retail and multifamily debt and equity opportunities. A University of Mississippi graduate with a double major in Real Estate and Banking & Finance, Adams brings significant knowledge of deal structures and market fundamentals to create optimal solutions for clients.

McMillen has been with JLL Capital Markets in Miami since October 2020, where she began as a Debt & Equity Analyst before advancing to Associate in June 2024. She has established expertise in structuring creative financing solutions across various property types and markets throughout the United States. McMillen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami with a double major in Finance and Business Law.
