Michael Balan Joins Largo As Senior Loan Originator

Sarasota-based Largo welcomed Michael Balan to the team as a Senior Loan Originator based in its Miami office.

Michael is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, specializing in debt and equity placements across the United States. He holds a B.S. in Management from the University of Maryland.

Michael began his banking career at Republic National Bank of New York and has held key roles at leading institutions including Bank of America’s conduit division, Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, and Northmarq. His extensive expertise enables him to deliver tailored financial solutions for clients nationwide.

An active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), Michael remains at the forefront of industry trends. He also serves on the Real Estate Committee of the Jewish National Fund and the General Board of the Miami Beach Police Athletic League, reflecting his strong commitment to both community and professional leadership.
