Remedy Medical Properties Breaks Ground On Two Medical Outpatient Developments
Remedy Medical Properties announced the groundbreaking of two medical outpatient developments with Broward Health: Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale and Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach. Remedy was awarded both development projects in January 2025, with completion expected in 2027.
The Broward Health Medical Center MOB broke ground on January 20 and will be a 188,000-square-foot, eight-story facility featuring 129 exam rooms, with capacity to expand to 237. The development will support cardiovascular services, pulmonology, primary care, gastroenterology, neuroscience, women’s services, and future growth. A 700-space parking garage will be delivered as part of the project. Key project partners include The Beck Group, DMZ Architects, Newmark Securities, Robins & Morton, and Centurion.
The Broward Health North MOB broke ground on March 16 and will be a 114,000-square-foot, six-story facility featuring 75 exam rooms, with capacity to expand to 123. The development will support cardiovascular care, neuroscience, and orthopedics. Key project partners include The Beck Group, DMZ Architects, Newmark, DPR Construction, and Centurion.
These projects further expand Remedy’s presence in South Florida and reflect continued demand for high-quality outpatient care infrastructure across the region.
“We are excited to advance these projects and expand our partnership with Broward Health,” said Peter Westmeyer, Founder of Remedy Medical Properties. “These developments reflect our ability to deliver flexible, integrated solutions, including a developer-led equity structure and a CTL/Foundation model with Centurion, that support long-term growth and improved patient access.”
