JLL Adds Veteran Office Broker To South Florida Team
JLL announced that Grant Killingsworth has joined the firm’s South Florida office brokerage team as Senior Managing Director, further strengthening its South Florida office brokerage platform and continuing JLL’s investment in experienced professionals across one of the country’s most active commercial real estate markets.
In this role, Killingsworth joins JLL’s South Florida office brokerage team, bringing over 25 years of experience representing office and industrial occupiers throughout the region and their real estate portfolio needs across the U.S. His career background working with both institutional landlords and office tenants provide valuable market insight and further strengthens JLL’s ability to advise clients in South Florida and beyond.
Killingsworth’s addition comes on the heels of former City of Miami Head of Real Estate Andrew Frey joining JLL as Managing Director in South Florida, reflecting JLL’s continued investment in expanding its South Florida brokerage platform by attracting experienced professionals across multiple business lines.
“South Florida continues to be one of the U.S.’s most dynamic markets, driven by sustained business growth, corporate relocations and increasing demand for high-quality workplace environments,” said Dan McGowan, Executive Managing Director and South Florida Broker Lead at JLL. “As activity continues across the region, we’re committed to investing in experienced professionals who bring deep market knowledge and trusted client relationships. Grant’s background representing both landlords and occupiers give him a well-rounded perspective on today’s real estate market, making him an outstanding addition to our team.”
Most recently, Killingsworth served as Senior Vice President within CBRE’s Occupier Services Group. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade at JLL, where he helped lease more than three million square feet of Class A office space, including at trophy assets such as Espirito Santo Plaza and 1221 Brickell in Miami’s Brickell Financial District.
Throughout his career, Killingsworth has advised local, regional and multinational corporations, nonprofits and educational institutions in their real estate strategies and decision-making. Given his trajectory in the region’s real estate market, he has also earned industry recognition from the South Florida Business Journal, Florida Trend Magazine and CoStar. Earlier in his professional journey, he also worked for several institutional property owners, gaining experience in lease underwriting and every stage of the office development process, from design and financial underwriting through construction and lease up.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from Florida State University.
