Major Beverage Company Takes Large Office Block In Coral Gables

Bacardi Limited has leased 100,000 square feet of office space at Plaza Coral Gables, located at 3011 Ponce De Leon Boulevard, for its North American regional operations. The Coral Gables office lease, completed Sept. 28, involves space owned by Agave Holdings and is expected to accommodate approximately 250 Bacardi employees relocating from another office in the local market. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.

Bacardi Consolidates Regional Operations in Coral Gables

The 100,000-square-foot commitment places Bacardi within one of Coral Gables’ major mixed-use developments. Plaza Coral Gables was completed in 2022 and combines office space with residential, retail and hospitality uses.

The broader complex includes 170 residential units, approximately 165,000 square feet of retail space and a 242-room Loews hotel.

Mahesh Madhavan is identified with Bacardi Limited in connection with the transaction, while Jose Antonio Perez Helguera is identified with landlord Agave Holdings.
