Apple Signs 42,000 SF Miami Office Lease

With the opening of a permanent office, Apple seems to be increasing its presence in Miami.

According to Bloomberg, the IT giant reaffirmed its presence in the area when it inked a deal for 42,000 square feet of office space on the 11th and 12th floors of the North Tower of the Plaza Coral Gables, according to a Cushman & Wakefield office market report.

According to Bloomberg, Cupertino, California-based Apple already has a presence in Miami, with an emphasis on its advertising and operations in Latin America. In addition, it is constructing one of the biggest Apple Stores in Downtown Miami, a freestanding retail space surrounded by the Miami Worldcenter towers.

Tere Blanca of Blanca Commercial Real Estate handles leasing at the property.  CBRE represented Apple in the lease.
