AMC To Open New Dine-In Theater In Sunrise

AMC Theatres signed a fifteen-year lease at Pine Plaza, and will turn the approximately 32,000 square foot Sunrise Cinemas into a new Dine-In Theater, according to a release.
The new theater will offer an upscale experience, combining the cuisine and cocktail options of a restaurant with the fun and excitement of a movie theater. AMC will take possession of the theater at the end of the month. They intend to perform a large-scale multi-million dollar renovation of the facility, while continuing to operate it.
Global Fund Investments, LLC Managing Partner, Doron Valero, stated, “We are excited to welcome AMC to Pine Plaza, where we have a myriad of family oriented tenants, including Bases Loaded indoors baseball facility, All Sports Childcare, Karate Kids and World Academy. AMC will replace the old, outdated theater from the eighties with a new and modern facility, with state of the art projection and sound systems, modern seating and a full scale restaurant kitchen, offering food and beer. Naturally we view AMC as a major improvement to the shopping center that will serve the local community for years to come.”
Pine Plaza is located on the Northwest corner of Pine Island Road and NW 41st Street in Sunrise Florida. It is anchored by Winn-Dixie, Goodwill Superstore and Family Dollar.
Global’s Randy Tulepan handles leasing at the retail center.
