American Airlines Renews 17,000 SF Lease

Altis Cardinal Realty, LLC announced today that valued tenant American Airlines signed a five-year lease renewal in its Coral Gables office building, 901 Ponce de Leon Boulevard.
Altis Cardinal, a Miami-based real estate firm, became sole property manager and leasing agent as of November 17, 2014 after jointly purchasing the office building with TMSA, a Montreal-based real estate fund.
 

“American Airlines is not only an important tenant at 901 Ponce, but also an important corporate member of the South Florida community and we are very proud to continue our relationship,” said Altis Cardinal Principal Frank Guerra.

American Airlines, one of the largest employers in Miami-Dade County, will occupy 17,000 square feet from which it will continue Latin American and Caribbean business operations.
 

“Renewing the lease was a strategic move for American Airlines,” said American Airlines Senior Vice President Art Torno. “Altis Cardinal as Manager is maintaining the building’s high quality while making necessary upgrades to keep the building up-to-date.”
