Ares Expands in South Florida With $56M Industrial Acquisition

Ares Management, via its real estate arm AIREIT, has purchased a 230,976-square-foot warehouse in Weston for $56 million.

The property, known as Meridian at Weston, is located at 3245 Meridian Parkway on a 15-acre site just east of I-75 in western Broward County.

Built in 1995, the warehouse was previously owned by Cabot Properties, which acquired it in 2019 for $33 million.

This latest deal signals Ares’s increasing appetite for industrial assets in the South Florida market.This move builds on Ares’s recent activity in the region. Last year, the firm leased office space in Miami Beach, and earlier in 2025, it acquired a 456,219-square-foot industrial portfolio in Broward County for around $120.5 million. Additionally, Ares has been active on the financing side—extending debt for major residential, stadium, and mixed-use projects across South Florida.
