Azor Advisory Services Announces New Retail Leases Totaling More Than 47,000 SF

Azor Advisory Services, a leading retail development/investment and brokerage firm in South Florida, announced a new tenant at the Shoppes of Arrowhead, a 42,555 square-foot open-air shopping plaza in Davie.

The Azor-owned property signed Aspen Dental to a long-term lease for 3,750 square feet in space formerly occupied by a Kirkland’s store.  Azor Advisory Services CEO Beth Azor brokered the deal in house.  Jonathan Cashion, a principal of Katz & Associates, represented Aspen Dental, a national brand that affiliates itself with independently owned dental practices throughout the U.S.  Other Shoppes of Arrowhead tenants include MD Now, Laspada’s Original Hoagies, Panera Bread and T-Mobile.

“With the vaccine gaining more traction each day, companies are feeling more confident about executing on their growth strategies,” said Azor.  “We are now backfilling space vacated during the pandemic with tenants who are willing to make long-term commitments.”

Over the last several weeks, Azor signed two new anchor tenants to long-term leases at retail centers in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.  Alpha 2 Industries, a California company which owns and operates a health club concept called Fitness System, signed a lease for 21,429 square feet at Plantation Crossing in Sunrise.  Helene Unschuld of Century 21 Tenace Realty represented the tenant.

Separately, Azor represented the owner of the East Hialeah Marketplace in leasing a 22,000-square-foot outparcel to dd’s Discounts, which was represented by Craig Fetherston and Jim Petrarca of the Shopping Center Group.  The landlord, Hemisphere Holdings LLC will build the space next door to an existing Ross store.
