Baptist Buys 8-Acre Doral Site

Baptist Health South Florida bought an 8.2-acre site in Doral for $7.43 million.
The nonprofit hospital and outpatient center operator bought the site from Aligned Properties, managed by Jose Hevia. It’s at the northeast corner of Northwest 33rd Street and Northwest 91stAve., across from JC Bermudez Park.
Baptist Health spokeswoman Christine Kotler said the property would be used for its future needs, but declined to elaborate.
Baptist Health has been especially active with real estate purchases this year, acquiring a Dendall hotel and a Pinecrest post office building.
