Broward Warehouse Owner Files Bankruptcy

Aphex Holdings, based in Hollywood, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Fort Lauderdale on September 18. The petition indicates that the company is fully owned by Bryan Hacht, who is also the signer of the filing.

According to the filing, Aphex Holdings is struggling with multiple mortgages that are in arrears. The company owns two warehouses totaling 21,927 square feet, located on 1.67 acres at 3580 and 3590 S.W. 30th Ave. in Hollywood, which it purchased for $5.35 million in 2021, shortly after their construction.

Additionally, Aphex Holdings owns two industrial condo units (107 and 108) at 2960 S.W. 23rd Terrace in Dania Beach, encompassing a total of 3,080 square feet, acquired for $780,000 in 2014.

The bankruptcy petition estimates the Hollywood warehouse’s value at $3 million and the Dania Beach condos at $850,000.
