CBRE’s Amy Julian and Andrew Chilgren represented the owner, WMP I LLC, in the transaction.
The development is planned to include thousands of affordable and workforce housing units, several hundred thousand square feet of retail and office uses, and medical and institutional uses, with an economic impact in the billions of dollars.
The transaction was brokered by Devlin Marinoff and Tony Arellano of Dwntwn Realty Advisors.
Rotella Group’s Steve Miller represented Skechers in the transaction.
The gourmet deli and restaurant relocated from its long-time South Dixie Highway location into a 9,053 square foot retail space on the building’s ground floor.
Colliers’ Jake Freeman and Maggie Guajardo Kurtz will lead office leasing efforts, while Jonathan Carter and Ryan Brodsky will head up retail leasing across both properties.
The deal was facilitated by Tony Arellano and Devlin Marinoff of DWNTWN Realty Advisors.
The property was sold by Andy Ansin, President and CEO of Sunbeam Television, after more than 70 years of family ownership, marking its first transfer.
