Colliers Closes 11,000 SF Expansion

Colliers International South Florida closed an extended and expanded lease for Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management at 95 Merrick Way, Coral Gables. Donna Abood, Chief Executive Officer of Colliers International South Florida, represented the tenant at the USAA-owned building.
The approximately 10-year lease included an extension of Northwestern’s existing 11,900 square feet, plus a 10,800 square foot expansion. Kellogg School of Management, which has consistently been ranked as one of the top business schools in the world by Businessweek and U.S. News & World Report, plans to use the expanded space for more classrooms.
“Kellogg Graduate School of Management’s growth is a good example of the consistent expansion that is occurring in the education sector,” says Donna. This is the sixth educational lease completed by Colliers within Miami-Dade and Broward counties over the last 24 months – all together totaling approximately 121,400 SF.
