Colliers’ Southeast Project Management & Development Services Welcomes Seasoned Director

Colliers announced that Vanessa Da Rocha has joined the firm as Director for the Southeast Project Management and Development Services team.

Based in the Fort Lauderdale office, Vanessa will focus on guiding capital improvement projects for condominium communities across the region.

“We’re excited to announce Vanessa’s addition to the Project Management team, where she will serve as one of the lead project managers for the Condominium Capital Improvement Management Program,” said Jeremy Caldwell, Vice President for Colliers’ Southeast Project Management & Development Services. “Her strategic focus and technical expertise will be instrumental in helping boards and property managers successfully plan, execute, and deliver large-scale renovations and infrastructure upgrades.”

Colliers’ Condominium Capital Improvement Management Program is designed to meet the needs of aging condominium properties. It assists communities with structural upgrades, reserve initiatives, and construction oversight, providing confidence and clarity through a trusted advisor.

Vanessa brings two decades of experience in architecture, with a strong focus on high-rise residential towers. Before joining Colliers, she served as The Falcon Group‘s representative for the Engineer of Record and Special Inspector, overseeing multiple multimillion-dollar restoration projects across South Florida’s high-rise condominium sector. Her expertise spans the full project lifecycle, from business service proposals and investigative phases to findings reports, repair manuals, bidding, contract negotiation, construction administration, and project closeout.

Her experience includes managing and executing of large-scale restoration and recertification projects across South Florida. Notable projects include the 558 settlement and façade restoration of Continuum South Tower, a 55-story luxury condominium in Miami Beach, and Biscayne Beach, a 54-story high-end residential tower in Miami. She also led restoration efforts for The Palms in Fort Lauderdale, including two 29-story towers and a parking garage with extensive structural repairs. She managed comprehensive recertification and restoration work at Delvista Towers in Aventura and The Addison at the Ocean in Boca Raton.

Vanessa is actively involved in the industry as a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and she previously served on the City of Hollywood’s Green Team Advisory Committee from 2014 to 2016.
