Comras Company has been awarded the exclusive leasing assignment for The Shops of Pembroke Gardens, the approximately 400,000 square foot, open-air lifestyle center located at 527 SW 145th Terrace in Pembroke Pines, at the southeast corner of I-75 and Pines Boulevard.
Comras Company’s Jeffery L. Evans, Director of Retail, along with Michael Comras, will oversee the assignment on behalf of the landlord, Duke Realty.
In spite of a current occupancy of 93 percent, Mr. Evans is applying a long-term strategic approach to future tenancy. “Ownership has done a remarkable job in creating a sought-after premier shopping and dining destination. Our focus will be to capitalize on this unique positioning while elevating and creating an even greater synergistic tenant mix.
With travel distances to Boca Town Center and Aventura, the Shops provide a tremendous opportunity for fashion retailers to service the excellent demographics in the West Broward market,” said Mr. Evans.
The center is home to tenants such as Cheesecake Factory, Sephora, Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, BCBG, Hollister and Brio.
“National retail and restaurant tenants are focusing on various new indicators when determining new site selections,” added Mr. Evans. “One of the drivers is how consumers demand to be near the experience. As such, The Shops of Pembroke Gardens is a key destination based on the tremendous density from surrounding areas.”
