Downtown West Palm Beach Office Tower Secures Construction Financing

Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation of Florida has secured a reported $385 million in construction financing for West Palm Point, a $400 million office development at 801 S. Dixie Highway in downtown West Palm Beach. The 23-story, 438,000-square-foot Class AA+ tower is under construction, with completion targeted for the first quarter of 2029. Robert Horowitz of Cooper Horowitz arranged the financing on behalf of the developer.

West Palm Point Will Occupy a Full Downtown Block

The financing package reportedly consists of two loans, one for $350 million and another for $35 million. The project is rising on a 2.4-acre site that Cohen Brothers leased from the West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency.

Plans include ground-floor retail and a separate 10-story garage with approximately 1,200 parking spaces. The property is near CityPlace, the Palm Beach County Convention Center and Brightline’s West Palm Beach station.

For companies weighing a downtown move around 2029, West Palm Point will add a large block of new office space to consider. Its parking capacity and proximity to Brightline give prospective tenants two ways to factor employee commutes into their location decisions.
