Foundry Commercial To Establish South Florida Brokerage, Hires Former CBRE Director To Lead

Former CBRE South Florida managing director David Bateman is now the managing director and market leader for Foundry Commercial in South Florida.

Bateman was chosen by Orlando-based Foundry Commercial to launch its brokerage and real estate services in the tri-county area. In recent years, the business has emerged as one of South Florida’s leading industrial developers. Ten million square feet of commercial property are also managed by Foundry, but it hasn’t provided leasing and investment sales services in the tri-county area.

Twelve other Sun Belt markets are served by Foundry Commercial, the majority of which offer brokerage services.

About fifty people work at Foundry Commercial in South Florida; the company includes offices in Boca Raton and Coral Gables. According to Bateman, he intends to hire brokers for all commercial real estate sectors.
