Gyroville Opens 4th South Florida Location

GYROVILLE, Really Fresh, Really Greek, a fast-casual Greek-fusion restaurant, announced that it has opened the doors to its fourth location at 1489C SE 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale.
The 17th Street Causeway location marks the third location to open in the past year for GYROVILLE, joining other regional sites in Pembroke Pines, Boca Raton, and the original Fort Lauderdale location on North Andrews Avenue. Headed by Founder/CEO and Executive Chef Lambros Kokkinelis, the GYROVILLE brand is expanding rapidly, with three additional locations expected by the end of 2011.
“We have incurred a high level of interest from landlords nationally who view this concept as the Greek version of “Chipotle and Pei Wei,” said Jeff Evans, Director – Retail Leasing, Comras Company, the exclusive leasing agent for GYROVILLE. “The fast paced growth and streamlined build-out, along with ownership’s efficient food costs, and management & culinary experience have really moved the needle forward with this concept.”
All four of the restaurants feature dishes created by fusing a melting pot of Mediterranean influences, fresh ingredients, and bold flavor combinations created from authentic Kokkinelis family recipes.
“We’ve taken the best of the traditional Greek menu and fused it with additional flavors loved by American palates,” said Mr. Kokkinelis. “Our research pointed to a pent up demand for consistently fresh and high-quality Greek dishes served in a fast-casual setting. We believe that ‘everyone deserves to eat like a God’.”
Further expanding on the”God-like” experience, the signature entrees are named after Greek Gods, including the “Poseidon” (grilled Cajun Mahi Mahi) and “Zeus” (grilled chicken, pork souvlaki, and gyro meat).  Dishes are topped with traditional tzatziki — which can be enhanced with the flavors of roasted red pepper, jalapenos and spinach, or caramelized onion and pineapple — and can be stuffed with a wide variety of garden-fresh vegetables.
