Key International Proposes 50-Story Miami Office Tower

Key International has revealed more details about its proposed 50-story building going in on Brickell.

Chicago-based architecture/planning firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed the new building with 750,000 square feet of office space in 50 stories. The South Florida Business Journal reported there would also be retail space on the ground floor and about 1,000 parking spaces. The developer said the office floor plates would range from 19,000 to 27,000 square feet.

The developer said 848 Brickell would have residence-like balconies and a 40,000-square-foot amenity level, including outdoor meeting spaces and lounges, a gym, two padel courts and an outdoor walking path.

Key International has yet to announce a development timeline for the project or hire a leasing broker.
