Local investment firm Lionheart Capital paid $20 million for the Miami Heart Institute, according to Miami-Dade County records.
Lionheart announced the acquisition last week but did not disclose financial details.
The 700,000-square-foot medical facility is located on a seven-acre waterfront property at 4701 Meridian Ave. The site includes a seven-story office building, three medical buildings and two parking garages.
Miami-based Lionheart, a real estate investment firm, specializes in acquiring and repositioning South Florida properties. The company’s plans for the Heart Institute property have not been disclosed.
