Medical Property Trades For $6M, To Be Redeveloped Into Retail & Offices

Sperry Van Ness Miami Commercial Real Estate Advisors completed the sale of the Helen B. Bentley Family Health Center, a 1.16 acre property located at 3090 S. Douglas Rd in Miami for $5.7 million.
John Lonardo, Caroline Camus, and Matthew Rotolante (pictured left), Managing Director of Sperry Van Ness Miami Commercial Real Estate Advisors, were the exclusive listing agents for the property.
The property, whose existing zoning allows for a 10 story building, was purchased by Treo Douglas Station, who intend to redevelop the site for retail, office, and possibly residential use.
The site lies close to Merrick Park, one of Miami’s premier luxury outdoor malls located in Coral Gables, where there are currently over 300 multifamily units under construction.
Linda Jackson of Salazar Jackson was the attorney for the seller, Helen B. Bentley Family Health Center, who will be using the proceeds to dedicate a memorial in the name of Helen B. Bentley, whose philanthropic efforts helped thousands of families receive health care over the past several decades.
