National CRE Firm Opens South Florida Office

Brian Buffone and Barry Wolfe have been named lead brokers in Stan Johnson Co.’s new Miami-area regional office, located at 6750 North Andrews Ave., Ste 200 in Fort Lauderdale.
Wolfe is a 12-year veteran in commercial real estate, having previously worked as senior director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Retail Group and Net Leased Properties Group and vice president of investments.
“It’s a well-known company nationally but relatively new in Florida so I’m looking forward to the opportunity to be a part of it from the ground up here,” Wolfe told Commercial Property Executive. “We are looking to be one of the dominant players in net-lease properties in Florida and the Southeast.”
During his career, Wolfe completed more than 250 closings valued at around $550 million, many in the Southeast. He also earned numerous company awards and was a six-time recipient of Marcus’ National Achievement Award.
Previously, Wolfe spent nearly 10 years working as a commercial real estate attorney, in private practice representing several national retailers and developers and subsequently managing the legal real estate department for an NYSE-traded national retailer.
According to Wolfe, the market in South Florida is fantastic and he expects it to remain strong at least into the next Presidential election.
Buffone is an eight-year veteran of commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, property management and financing, having founded Park Manor Capital Partners and serving as partner and chief financial officer of Compson Holding Corp. He has been involved in more than $500 million in real estate transactions.

Since 2008, the Stan Johnson Co. has opened offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Phoenix, New York City and San Francisco.
