New Miami Subs Grill Launching New Restaurants

The New Miami Subs Grill has unveiled plans to launch restaurants in Miami Springs, Miami and South Beach this year and next.
The first restaurant will open in mid-November along South Royal Poinciana Boulevard in Miami Springs, under the watchful eye of franchisee John Nakis, who opened his first Miami Subs restaurant in 1992, opened three more in Dade County and Tallahassee and then exited the business in 1999.
“John was one of our best franchisees,” said CEO Richard Chwatt, who took over in 2010. “We are elated to welcome him back on board and find it very fitting that he be the one leading the new expansion into Miami.”
Recently, the Fort Lauderdale-based chain started its expansion push in Latin America as well as forming an equity partnership with Armando Christian Perez, the international music sensation also known as “Pitbull.”
