New York Investor Pays $12.5M For Miami Church Property

A New York investor with links to Manhattan-based developer Helm Equities paid $12.5 million on a church property just north of Miami’s Design District.

The company, 4201 NE 2nd Ave LLC, acquired the nearly two-acre parcel in a transaction recorded on Monday, according to Miami-Dade County records.

Southeastern Conference Association of Seventh-Day Adventists is the seller. The nonprofit owned the 23,534-square-foot church building for 24 years before this week’s sale to the Helm-managed company.

The 1956-built building was most recently the home of the Jerusalem French Seventh Day Adventist Church.
