People's Trust Insurance Eyes Deerfield Beach For New HQ

People’s Trust Insurance Co. wants to move its 300-person headquarters to a business park in Deerfield Beach.
The Boca Raton-based property insurer is negotiating to take over an existing ground lease that includes a 41,000-square-foot building and about 10 acres at the Research Park at Florida Atlantic University.
The company would develop the land and grow its employee-base to about 500 more workers in the next few years.
People’s Trust currently leases about 19,000 square feet at 6001 Broken Sound Parkway NW in Boca.
