New York-based Garrison Investment Group has signed Silverspot Cinema to a lease at Promenade at Coconut Creek.
Silverspot will operate a 12-screen theater featuring a combination of first-run blockbuster, 3-D, and concerts presented with state of the art projection and sound technology. Each theater has hand stitched leather stadium style seating, as well as a high-end restaurant, bar and lounge where theatergoers can enjoy “dinner and a movie” in one place.
The 47,000-square-foot multiplex, scheduled to open in 2013, will be the company’s fourth U.S. location.
Silverspot opened its first U.S. location at The Mercato in Naples FL with two more in the works at Metropolitan in Miami and Rock Spring Center in Rockville, MD.
Promenade at Coconut Creek is a 23-acre, 277,000-square-foot mixed-use retail and office development situated at the intersection of Lyons and Wiles Road near the Florida Turnpike and Sawgrass Interchange.
