Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar 3 800x400

Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar Opens 4,000-SF Restaurant In Downtown Fort Lauderdale

Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar opened in Downtown Fort Lauderdale on Monday, Nov. 30, bringing a different dining vibe to a high-profile stage on Federal Highway between Flagler Village and Victoria Park. Located in a nearly 4,000-square-foot street-front space once occupied by MidiCi Italian Kitchen, at 510 N. Federal Highway, Tacocraft has instantly become a defining destination on a prominent spine of commercial opportunity between Broward and Sunrise boulevards that lacks a visible face. The Tacocraft space, designed by the creative team at P2 Interiors, a design firm led by Ponch and Patty Herrera, was design with large open folding windows allows air to flow and visibility from inside out with the adjoining exterior covered turf patio.

Diners can can dine comfortably in lounge chairs or grab a cocktail at the bar while enjoying the great outdoors which serves as an extension of the facility. Both are themed with the Tacocraft signature colors and decor created by P2 – a classy marriage of heavy woods with citrusy green subway tile, a color repeated throughout the space. A massive marble bar was created to house more than 400 bottles. The overall feel is bright, fresh, sophisticated with a relaxing casual vibe.
