The project will deliver 384 apartment residences totaling approximately 391,747 square feet featuring structured parking and an extensive suite of lifestyle-focused, state-of-the-art amenities.
The project replaces a formerly underutilized office property and aligns with the City of Fort Lauderdale’s long-term vision for Uptown Urban Village, which is aimed at bringing more residences and mixed-use development to the area near the Cypress Creek Tri-Rail Station and Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
The project spans 43 acres and brings a vibrant mix of residential, retail, and office space to the growing Congress Avenue corridor.
The transformation of Southland Mall into Southplace City Center will introduce more than 5,000 market rate residential units, 500,000 square feet of retail, dining, and entertainment space, a 60,000-square-foot medical center, a 150-key hotel, and extensive green spaces.
Shalimar at Plantation is part of the Plantation Midtown Master Plan and included within Plantation Midtown Square development, a 25-acre site that will ultimately deliver 480 luxury apartments, 86 townhomes, a three-story parking garage, and 10,000 square feet of retail space on the former American Express property.
Parks at Delray will ultimately deliver a 747-unit multifamily development offering townhouses along with three- and five-story garden-style buildings, in addition to an estimated 40,000 square feet of grocery-anchored retail space and an existing, 68,000-square-foot office building.
“Having delivered one of our first luxury multifamily projects in Plantation more than a decade ago, we remain highly invested in the city of Plantation and are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring the next generation of amenity-rich, luxury living options to the area with The Ellsworth,” said Jeff McDonough, Stiles Residential Group President.
The project will reinvigorate the nearly three acres of underutilized parking lots behind Grover Corlew’s 2401 Atlantic and 2335 Atlantic office buildings.
