VIDEO: Colliers Takes Part In Red Bull SkyDiving Event
Last week, Colliers took an active role in putting Miami in the spotlight, garnering worldwide media attention, by assisting Red Bull in its first ever Leap Day; an event that featured professional skydivers leaping off of buildings in four cities around the country to celebrate February 29th.
Colliers International South Florida Chairman – Founding Partner Michael T. Fay and Executive Vice President Randy Olen arranged a Miami location for Red Bull in order to highlight the city of Miami and put a spotlight on the Brickell Avenue financial district on a global level. Olen, who is also president of the Brickell Area Association, utilized a long term relationship with the owners of Espirito Santo Plaza located at 1395 Brickell Avenue as a great way to feature the building, Brickell Avenue and Miami.
The jump off of the 460-foot Brickell building was coordinated with similar jumps in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. The Red Bull Air Force landed with the help of Red Bull branded parachutes. Click below to view a video of the jump:
“We are excited to have had Miami as one of our three Leap Day jump locations, and are grateful to Colliers South Florida for arranging the use of the building through their vast connections in the community,” says Ryan Lamos, Red Bull North America Athlete Marketing Manager.
“Our firm will go through any efforts possible to promote Miami, and in turn bring business to the community,” says Fay, who is actively involved with Red Bull through his long-term wakeboarding activities.
