JLL Secures Three New Leases For South Florida Restaurant Brand Sicilian Oven

JLL has secured three new leases on behalf of Sicilian Oven, the South Florida restaurant brand known for its wood-fired pizzas and Italian cuisine, in Doral, Kendall and Boynton Beach. The leases total approximately 13,279 square feet, excluding patios, and represent a significant step in the restaurant group’s broader South Florida expansion strategy.

The Doral location, situated at Doral Square at 8700 NW 36th Street, will span approximately 4,726 square feet on the ground floor and feature a large wraparound patio. In Kendall, Sicilian Oven leased approximately 4,663 square feet, plus patio space, at 11800 Mills Drive in Miami, within an open-air lifestyle shopping center owned by Kimco Realty. The Boynton Beach restaurant will occupy approximately 3,890 square feet, plus patio space, at 1800 N. Congress Avenue, on the ground floor of a 60,000-square-foot mixed-use property.

The transactions mark Sicilian Oven’s continued growth in Miami-Dade County and its expansion into Boynton Beach, advancing the brand’s growth throughout South Florida and beyond. JLL Executive Vice President Jonathan Rosen and Associate Michael Barashick represented Sicilian Oven in all three lease negotiations. IMC Equity Group, owner of Doral Square, was represented by Ron Brill. The landlord for the Kendall location was represented by Michael Sullivan of Vertical Real Estate and Katie Wycoff of Kimco, while the landlord for the Boynton Beach location was represented by Allan Carlisle of Katz & Associates.

Founded nearly 20 years ago, Sicilian Oven has become a staple dining destination across Broward and Palm Beach counties, building a loyal following through its family-friendly atmosphere, wood-fired pizzas and neighborhood-focused hospitality. The group currently operates 10 locations throughout South Florida and recently received a strategic investment from private equity firm Goode Partners to accelerate its growth throughout the state and Southeast region.

“We’re super excited about the opportunity to expand the Sicilian Oven brand into new markets throughout South Florida,” said Ralph Disalvo and Andrew Garavuso of Sicilian Oven. “As we grow, it’s extremely important to us that we stay true to what has made Sicilian Oven successful from the beginning: our authentic Sicilian specialties, wood-fired cooking and welcoming neighborhood atmosphere. We’ve always believed ‘We’re Not Your Typical Italian Restaurant,’ and we’re excited to introduce that experience to even more communities across South Florida.”

Previously expanding at a measured pace of one or two locations annually, Sicilian Oven is now actively pursuing multiple new opportunities throughout South Florida, with several additional leases currently in negotiation.

“This is a major milestone for Sicilian Oven as they bring a brand that so many locals have grown up with into new communities,” said Rosen. “There is tremendous demand in today’s retail market for authentic, homegrown restaurant concepts with established customer loyalty and strong brand recognition. Sicilian Oven has built an iconic following across Broward and Palm Beach counties, and we believe that reputation positions the brand well for continued expansion throughout South Florida.”

Over the years, Sicilian Oven has developed a devoted customer base through its combination of wood-fired pizzas, Italian classics and neighborhood-driven hospitality. The new leases in Doral, Kendall and Boynton Beach represent a significant evolution for the company as it builds on its established South Florida presence and enters its next phase of growth backed by institutional investment.
