The next prime Brickell site to hit the market is Rivergate Plaza.
John Bell, managing director at Rockwood Real Estate Advisors LLC, is set to handle marketing for the two-building complex on behalf of owner 444 Brickell Avenue Holdings LLC. Bell confirmed Wednesday that the 4.13-acre site on the Miami River west of the Brickell Bridge at 444 Brickell Ave. and 77 SE Fifth St. is up for sale.
“This is a prime site in the market and the final piece in connecting Brickell and downtown Miami,” said Bell, who declined to comment further.
The building underwent an extensive capital improvement program back in November, 2011 which included substantial renovations of the ground floor Plaza area.
The Capital Grille restaurant, which renewed its lease in 2011, occupies much of the ground floor at 444 Brickell Ave. Other Rivergate tenants include the criminal appeals division of the state attorney general’s office and law firm Bander & Associates.
