The new, two-building logistics facility totals 317,499 square feet.
Totaling 1.38 acres on the block running up to the iconic Lincoln Road, the portfolio includes 1.21 acres or 52,500 square feet of contiguous developable lots with an existing 55,516-square-foot mixed-use/retail structure along Alton Road and an additional 0.17-acre or 7,500-square-foot parking lot on the West Avenue side.
CBRE’s Gordon Messinger represented the landlord, MAS*AJP, in the transactions.
The 56,072-square-foot building is located within Miramar Park of Commerce.
The mission-critical facility will soon house approximately 900 employees that facilitate the billing, scheduling and telemedicine services for the healthcare group.
The Cushman & Wakefield team was comprised of Matthew G. McAllister, Chris Metzger, Richard F. Etner Jr., and Christopher Thomson. Pete Sheridan of JLL represented the building’s owner, Prologis.
The pet retailer agreed to an eight year term.
The team comes to CBRE from Cushman & Wakefield’s Boca Raton office.
The new division will focus on identifying infill speculative and industrial build to suit opportunities in the State of Florida and opportunistically in other key logistics markets.
