Colliers Brokers 34,500-SF Health Club Lease

Amped Fitness added Plantation Marketplace to its 11 locations as it looks to continue its aggressive expansion plan in the Florida market.

Having opened three new locations earlier this year, Altamonte Springs, Doral, and Fort Myers, the fitness innovator plans to occupy its new Plantation space by November of this year and add another 5 locations within the next 12 months.

“Amped is quickly establishing themselves as one of the premier health clubs in the Southeast, and we are pleased to have represented them on the Plantation lease,” said Colliers’ Executive Managing Director Dave Preston, who represented Amped in the lease negotiations. “The site is ideally located just east of the most heavily trafficked intersection in the trade area – University and Broward Blvd – and will conveniently serve both the Plantation and Sunrise submarkets.”

The full-service fitness concept provides a variety of high-quality amenities, including personal training, hydromassage, group classes, basketball courts, an immersive Les Mills virtual studio, tanning, and childcare, with memberships starting at only $9.99 per month. With its competitive lineup of amenities, the fitness chain has quickly disrupted today’s market, focusing on providing an exciting and affordable fitness experience.

“We are excited to be in the city of Plantation and look forward to bringing something different to the community. We offer more for less without sacrificing quality. High energy and tons of growth seem like a perfect fit. See it to believe it? That works, but with us it’s come feel it to believe it. Thanks to all involved,” Travis Labazzo (CEO) stated in an interview.
