Colliers International Wins New Leasing Assignment In Coral Gables
Colliers International South Florida has been selected to handle the leasing for 150 Alhambra Plaza, a Class A office building in Coral Gables. The 105,733-square-foot building recently sold to MDR Americana, which was advised on the acquisition by Steelbridge Capital, LLC.
The building’s property management will be provided by Steelbridge Real Estate Services, LLC, who awarded the leasing assignment to Jonathan Kingsley and Stephen Rutchik’s team – both Executive Vice Presidents with Colliers.
The Class A office building is 95 percent occupied with such tenants as FedEx Office Ship Center and Banesco USA. The 13-story building, which has a distinctive design, is located in a walkable area less than a half-mile from the heart of downtown Coral Gables. The full penthouse floor, which features excellent water views in an efficient floor plan of 14,000 square feet, will be available March 1.
The building’s new ownership has plans for extensive renovations and upgrades to the common areas, parking garage and the exterior of the building, and Colliers International will market the new features to showcase the property.
“The property’s distinctive design, central location with proximity to the downtown area, and plentiful parking make it appealing to a wide range of businesses,” said Colliers’ Rutchik. “The unique and functional design combined with excellent city views and one of the most prime locations in Coral Gables are among the advantages of leasing office space at 150 Alhambra Plaza.”
Kingsley and Rutchik’s team also handles the leasing for 11 other buildings in South Florida, totaling 3.1 million square feet.
