Doral Land Sells For $24 PSF

Fairchild Partners principal Jose I. Juncadella, SIOR, recently sold a 1-acre parcel in Doral for $1,050,000, or approximately $24 per square foot, on behalf of owner Topp Investments, Inc. Juncadella was involved in the original purchase of the property by Topp Investments.
The buyer,  Puerto Rico-based Caribbean Radiation Oncology Center, is new to Miami.
The cancer treatment company is planning to build a new state-of-the-art radiation oncology facility at the location, adding 22 jobs and $8.35 million in capital investment within three years.
“I welcome Caribbean Radiation Oncology Center to the City of Doral,” Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz said. “This center is not only going to service our residents but also provide our community with much needed jobs.” Enterprise Florida referred the company to The Beacon Council. The Beacon Council assisted the company with permitting/licenses, research and marketing analysis and business contacts and referrals.
“Miami-Dade County is a great place for growth,” said Carmen I. Bigles, Administrator and CFO for Caribbean Radiation Oncology Center. “The synergy and current environment is prime for us to establish a new standard in cancer treatment.”
Juncadella also serves on the Board of Directors for the Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida (CIASF).  CIASF is a non-profit organization of business  leaders involved in the development, design, construction, sales, and leasing of Industrial and Commercial Real Estate in South Florida.  The association hosts events each month covering a wide range of topics including the Industrial Market Report in January and the Office Market Report in May, its signature events.
