The final public meeting for the Port Everglades Master Plan will be held on Wednesday, May 28th, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the Downtown Fort Lauderdale Main Library.
This will be an important meeting as the plans for future projects at Port Everglades will be discussed. The Southport freight improvements will have an enormous impact on industrial real estate throughout the county and the improvements planned for Northport will, likewise, greatly impact passenger and visitor operations.
Coupled with the expansion of Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, Broward County is opening our doors to commerce and global trade on an unprecedented level.
The expanded turning notch, Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) and new FEC rail yard, dredging and widening of the channel, proposed changes for access to the convention center, passenger terminal improvements, relocated foreign trade zone (FTZ 25), and the I-595 access improvements will all be discussed.
This is information will be vitally important to your current clients and to firms asking for your counsel in the future. It will be well worth attending.
