JLL Closes 600 Brickell Deal

Boston Consulting Group, one of the world’s leading management consulting firms, has finalized a lease agreement for 5,710 square feet of space at 600 Brickell at Brickell World Plaza.
The firm will relocate to the 631,866 square foot, 40-story tower from 1111 Brickell Ave. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.
The building’s tenants include law firm Hogan Lovells, Crédit Agricole Private Banking Miami, New York-based commercial and construction mortgage lender Doral Money Inc., and global mediation and arbitration service provider JAMS.
Jones Lang LaSalle Executive Vice President Glenn H. Gregory and Senior Vice President Noël Steinfeld represented 600 Brickell’s developer, Foram Group, in the transaction. Jones Lang LaSalle Senior Vice Presidents Jonathan Kingsley and Stephen Rutchik represented Boston Consulting Group.
“Boston Consulting Group’s decision to relocate its Miami office to 600 Brickell is the latest in a steady string of high-profile domestic and international users who have decided to lease space at the market’s most centrally located, technologically advanced office building,” said Jones Lang LaSalle’s Gregory. “We expect this trend to continue as office market dynamics improve, the economy further stabilizes, and Miami’s prominence as a hub for worldwide business strengthens.”
Founded in 1963, the Boston Consulting Group is among the world’s leading advisors on business strategy. The firm partners with clients from the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors in all regions to identify their highest-value opportunities, address their most critical challenges, and transform their enterprises. The company’s Miami office, launched in 2003, is one of 78 offices located in 43 countries.
“Being one of the world’s top business consulting firms, Boston Consulting Group understands the factors that contribute to a successful and efficient office operation. The firm’s selection of 600 Brickell over other class A buildings points to this property’s core features, including flexible floor plates, LEED Platinum pre-certification, and direct connectivity to the NAP of the Americas, a link that places the tower in a league of its own in the Miami market,” commented Steinfeld.
Beyond being the only major office building in Miami offering tenants a direct connection to the NAP (Network Access Point) of the Americas, 600 Brickell is the first major Class A office building in the world to be ISO 27001 Certified, which is the international benchmark for information security. The building is also LEED Platinum pre-certified.
