Jones Lang LaSalle Brings Finance Expert On Board

Charles CrapseAs commercial real estate sales volumes continue to grow in the Florida market, Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets has hired Charles Crapse to continue its growth in offering clients financing and disposition solutions for investment properties throughout the state.
Crapse joins as a Senior Vice President and will work under the direction of Managing Directors Denny St. Romain, Jubeen Vaghefi and Jeff Morris in Miami.
“Charles has extensive capital markets expertise and is knowledgeable in every facet of the capital structure, having worked as a lender, owner and advisor,” said St. Romain. “His ability to manage and add value to commercial real estate owned assets is a tremendous addition to our Florida team.”
Previously, Crapse served as a portfolio manager at Bayview Asset Management, a Miami-based private equity fund. There, he was responsible for a national portfolio valued at $150 million of non-performing commercial real estate loans and REO assets. He also oversaw the renovation and implementation of value-add strategies on commercial REO assets nationwide.
Crapse began his career at a national brokerage firm as a broker, representing institutional and private capital investors. In total, he was involved in the sale of more than 29,000 apartment units. Crapse earned his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Pennsylvania State University.  He is a registered real estate salesperson and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
