Law Firm Leaving Aventura For Downtown Fort Lauderdale

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney has leased space in the Bank of America Plaza at Las Olas City Centre in downtown Fort Lauderdale as the law firm moves from Aventura.
The Pittsburgh-based firm announced in August it would relocate its Aventura office, currently located at Country Club Center at 19950 W. Country Club Drive, to Fort Lauderdale to be closer to its business client base.
Buchanan’s six Aventura lawyers will make the move Monday to the 22nd floor of the 23-story tower at 401 E. Las Olas Blvd. The office will be headed by Jack Kessler, who opened the firm’s Aventura office nearly 25 years ago.
Buchanan joins other South Florida firms moving from suburban to downtown Fort Lauderdale offices. Others include Becker & Poliakoff and Greenspoon Marder.
The firm has 12 lawyers in Miami and more than 450 nationally with offices in California, Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
