Miami-Dade County Commission Approves Large Mixed-Use Project In South MDC

The Miami Dade County Commission approved South Miami-Dade Farmers LLC’s rezoning application for an 11.4 acre parcel located in South Miami Dade County. Attorney Javier Vazquez with Berger Singerman represented South Miami-Dade Farmers LLC.

The parcel will be used for the development of a mixed-use project which includes 321 multifamily units to be built among six three-story buildings with a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units plus recreational amenities.

Additionally, this development/project is compliant with the Miami-Dade County SMART Plan regulations established by the county commission in 2016.

Today’s approval closes out a year long process which has included significant interaction with County staff at all levels of local government, including Planning, Public Works, DERM, School Board and parks, just to name a few.
