1450 Brickell Signs Full Floor Tenant

1450 Brickell signed a new round of leases, including the headquarters of business law firm Berger Singerman.
Berger Singerman is leaving the Southeast Financial Center, formerly known as the Wachovia Financial Center, for an entire floor in the new office tower.
Firm co-CEO Paul Singerman said 1450 Brickell was chosen because a survey of Class A office buildings indicated that it stood out as the preferred relocation option for its strong ownership team, convenient location and advanced construction quality.
“We are moving in mid-December 2011,” he said, and noted that the move positions Berger Singerman to create new business relationships with companies already located in the building.
Also announced Wednesday were leases with wealth management adviser Mora Wealth Management, financial services provider Key Consulting Services LLC, and Italy-based advertising firm Armani & Associati. The four new leases account for 34,566 square feet of office space.
Mora Wealth Management will move from 801 Brickell, while Key Consulting and Armani & Associati are both new to the market. Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
Other tenants include law firm Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP, which signed an 80,000-square-foot lease in 2009, investment firm H.I.G. Capital, which took 38,661 square feet in May 2010, commercial real estate services firm Holiday Fenoglio Fowler, JPMorgan Chase, City National Bank, BNY Mellon, executive search firm Korn/Ferry International, Spanish financial institution Bancaja, Ratzan Law Group, Kempler & Co. and investment banking firm BroadSpan Capital.
Tere Blanca and Danet Linares of leasing agent Blanca Commercial Real Estate represented l1450 Brickell LLC and Rilea Group in the transactions. Barbara Liberatore Black and Matthew Goodman of CresaPartners represented Berger Singerman. The other leases did not involve co-brokers.
The building, completed a year ago, is now 65 percent leased.
