After Five Decades, Greater Miami Chamber Moves Headquarters

The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) will relocate its headquarters to SunTrust International Center, a Class-A office building located in the heart of Downtown Miami’s Central Business District, at One Southeast 3rd Avenue.

At its current location for more than five decades, the Chamber signed a long-term lease and will occupy 3,244 square feet in suite 1410 of the building. Move-in date is expected to be February 2022.

As the champion for the Greater Miami Business Community, the GMCC’s move to new offices is a key component of the Chamber’s evolution, which will also include a new identity package, enhanced programs and offerings, a new website, and more in the coming year.

Enhancements such Leadership Miami®’s new leadership curriculum imparted by six local universities in the upcoming 2022 session is an example of the Chamber’s commitment to meeting the needs of the next generation of local leaders.

Tere Blanca, President & CEO of Blanca Commercial Real Estate, Inc., and her team represented the Chamber in this transaction in addition to helping the organization identify the space. The building’s shared amenity area includes a newly designed rooftop terrace, a state-of-the-art fitness center, conference facility, available for tenant use, onsite deli, Walgreens Pharmacy and Bank of America and SunTrust banking centers, 24/7 security and closed circuit TV monitoring, onsite property management, LEED Silver and Wired Gold certified building.
