National Law Firm Doubles Footprint At Southeast Financial Center

Southeast Financial Center, Florida’s tallest and largest office tower and plaza totaling 1.225 million square feet in the heart of Miami’s Central Business District, announced today that Cozen O’Connor, a national law firm ranked among the 100 largest in the United States, has signed a long-term lease renewal and expansion.
“When considering our space requirements and market options, it was a comparatively easy decision to remain at Southeast Financial Center rather than move to a building with unknown parameters of amenities and unproven building requirements,” said Richard Dunn, Office Managing Partner, Cozen O’Connor.
A combination of current market recovery, including recent hires, and long-term growth projections for the Miami legal market, led Cozen O’Connor to expand from 4,900 square feet to 8,900 square feet. The expansion will include a complete redesign of the firm’s existing and new office space to increase efficiencies and upgrades to aesthetics.

The most significant leased tower in the state of Florida with approximately one million square feet under occupancy, Southeast Financial Center continues to appeal to national law firms as the premier business tower in South Florida. Ten of the Top 250 law firms reside in Southeast Financial Center, taking more than 330,000 square feet or approximately ¼ of the building.
