Native Realty Completes Several New Lease Transactions Totaling Nearly 17,000 SF

Native Realty, the Fort Lauderdale-based real estate firm led by Jaime Sturgis, brokered several new lease transactions involving properties in Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale.

In Fort Lauderdale, Sturgis and Native Associate Donald VanBeach represented landlord LPF Realty-FL, LLC in a 12,930-square-foot lease with VMT Enterprises, LLC. VMT offers one of the most diverse inventories of new and pre-owned Mercedes Benz Sprinters, Vans and RV Campers in the country. It has opened a brand-new showroom at the 540 W. Sunrise Blvd. property.

In another transaction, Native Associates Jeremiah and Sarah Adler represented Gypset Entertainment LLC in a lease for the former Flamingo Seafood restaurant space at 2798 E. Atlantic Blvd. The tenant is a husband-and-wife duo that co-founded Café Wild in Manhattan Beach, California and Pikey Coffee in Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple plans to operate the 2,250-square-foot Pompano Beach restaurant space – a converted gas station – as a hub for food and family recreation. Plans call for multiple food vendors, coffee, craft cocktails and an outdoor deck with games and activities for kids.

Also in Pompano Beach, Sturgis completed a 1,299-square-foot lease on behalf of Bagels & Co. to open a new location in Pompano Beach. Sturgis exclusively represents the popular Philadelphia founded Bagels & Co. concept in its search for new store locations. The Pompano Beach store will be located at 1162 N. Federal Hwy. Earlier this year, Sturgis finalized leases for Bagels & Co. stores in Davie (Nova Southeastern University), Gainesville (University of Florida) and Tallahassee (Florida State University). A big hit with college students who love Bagels & Co.’s Brooklyn-style bagels and innovative cream cheese flavors, Bagels & Co. first debuted in Florida in late 2022 with a Fort Lauderdale store.
