Pinnacle Welcomes Regional Director of Acquisition & Development To Focus On Broward, Palm Beach And Central Florida

Pinnacle announced the addition of Grég Gabriel as Regional Director of Acquisition and Development.

Mr. Gabriel’s focus is on the Broward, Palm Beach and Central Florida markets and is based in the West Palm Beach office.

In this role, Mr. Gabriel will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and acquiring new development sites as well as developing private-public partnership opportunities involving public land surplus suitable for affordable housing projects.

Mr. Gabriel’s dedication to urban development is underscored by his role as a board member of the City of West Palm Beach Downtown Action Committee, where he actively contributes to shaping the city’s downtown. His passion for community, placemaking, walkable communities, and transportation-oriented development demonstrates his commitment to sustainable urban planning and thoughtful growth.

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Mr. Gabriel worked for the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency (TPA), which is a federally mandated local agency tasked to plan, prioritize and fund the transportation system. Mr. Gabriel’s role involved helping the TPA create a safer roadway network, evaluating premium transit options like bus rapid transit and increasing transportation and housing options through transit-oriented mixed-use development. Previously, Mr. Gabriel worked for the Palm Beach County Youth Services Department as a Spatial Analyst, facilitating the allocation of funds to community-based agencies.

Mr. Gabriel holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Urban Regional Planning and Architecture from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Gabriel is an active member of the American Planning Association and the Urban Land Use Institute, and. has been selected for the 2024 ULI Leadership Institute Program.
