Ryder Buys HQ For $42 Million

Transportation and logistics giant Ryder System plunked down $42 million to acquire its corporate headquarters at Miami’s Flagler Station. Three Ryder companies purchased the 11690 Northwest 105th Street property on Thursday, according to Miami-Dade County records. No financing was recorded.
Coral Gables-based Flagler constructed the nearly 250,000-square-foot headquarters building on about 17 acres in 2005.
The property was most recently assessed at $26.1 million by Miami-Dade County’s property appraiser.
At 900 acres, Flagler Station is South Florida’s largest business park.
